I have a 1999 Pace Arrow that came from the factory with 50 gal. tanks, but some nut replaced both with 25 gal. and built a 2x4 frame to support them.
The mechanic at Camper World said that the original tanks were probably cut out with a power saw in order to replace them because most tanks are installed proior to the frame being mounted on the chassie.
Really handycaps us when boondocking.
Good luck with your problem, I hope it gets solved better than mine was.

Larry

Doesn't your model have a big cover inside the basement compartment where all your connections are? If so, you might be able to gain some access by removing it. You'll probably have to reach around and undo the fitting to get the cover off, but it's not that bad.

On my 04 Dolphin LX the holding tanks have access from the outside storage compartments on the curb side. There are black panels inside that can be removed to gain access to both the black and grey tanks. The black tank also has access behind the control panel on the road side, but removing the problem with all the connections is not easy.

In my 95 Dolphin 533 I could get to the holding tanks from either side. However if I needed access from the driver's side I needed to remove the grey cover in the compartment where the dump valves are located. On the passenger side in one of the compartment I could clearly see the holding tanks as there were no covers on that side. I actually installed a black tank flush inlet on the passenger side. If you are trying to get to the tank sensors they are located behind the grey covers on the driver's side.

We have a 2000 34' National Sea Breeze 1340. It was two gray water holding tanks. We dry camped this weekend for the first time. Gray water tank 2 filled up and the water started to drain slowly. Can anyone tell me how to make the gray water start going to the other tank?

Thanks,

Janet

Surely there is a user friendly way to get the grey water going into the second tank. We were level. If we jacked up the front more, it would over extend the jacks and break another spring.

If you need to raise the font a little more, just put down a block of wood under the front jack pads prior to extending them.

How many drain valves do you have? Possibly one gray tank server the kitchen sink and the other gray serves the bedroom shower & sink. Don't know, but I have seen similar arrangements on other units.

I'm not sure about the number of drain valves since my husband takes care of draining the tanks. But I don't think the tanks serve separate areas because according to the gauge, gray water 2 was full, and gray water 1 was completely empty, and we had been using both the kitchen sink and the bathroom sink and shower.
