I have a situation on my 1998 Sea Breeze. I found a few repair tickets related to the leveling jacks from PO's over the years. We just picked this up in late November so I have not had much time and good warm weather to fully investigate. The last time I tried mine I made sure that the engine was running and not only was the auto park engaged but also the parking brake. The pump runs and when I push the button to lower the jacks, I can hear the pump load down as if the solenoids are energizing and it is sending fluid to the cylinders but no movement. I have had other items to occupy my time with this beast as we are new owners. I wll get to them in time but if anyone has suggestions, I would welcome them.

Is there fluid in the reservoir?

check the fluid with the jacks fully retracted

Yup...been there done that. Fluid is full. I was thinking that there might be some kind of a release mechanism as the foot pads are rotated 90 degrees from horizontal. Upon further inspection, I see how they rotate up when retracted and then allowed to rotate down when the cylinders extend. I'll have to wait until I have some good weather and an extra set of hands/eyes. Maybe install a pressure gauge between the solenoid and the outgoing lines to check if I get pressure past the solenoids when activated.

You might consider first resetting the controller...a I-search with your specific model # may lead you to the process or it could be included in a manual. Some have had success with unplugging the wire harness on the rear of the controller, checking for corrosion and reconnecting. At some point you'll have to consider whether the controller is working properly. Hang in there...

Thanks Steve...I'll give that a shot. It would seem to me that when I hear the pump load down while pushing the down button that the solenoids are firing. I can definitely hear a load on the pump when I try to activate them. I thought that prehaps the seal on the pump might need replaced and not enough pressure is getting to the cylinders. I will give your quick fix a try first. Thanks for the advice.
