Instrument gauge problems

I have owned RV's for many years, but purchased my most recent (2005 National Sea Breeze) in 2008.

I enjoy our rig and have had only minor issues over the last seven years. We recently had it painted by Pro Custom in Indiana and they did a fantastic job.

The one issue that I am currently having is that my Speedometer, RPM gauge are only partially working, and my oil, temperature and voltage gauges are not working. I have checked all my fuses, and wiring for any kind of rodent damage, but cannot find a cause for this issue. I would appreciate any ideas or suggestions.

Instrument problems

It is the Ford V-10. It seems that the gauges work but they all seem to read lower than normal. When I turn the ignition on, they all activate, but when the engine in running, all of them read at the very low end of the spectrum. It really has me puzzled.

Are you sure that your oil, temp, and voltage aren't actually low (I know, unlikely, but...)? A Scangauge or a cheap ($10) OBDII plugin with a free smartphone app would verify.

someone I talked to said that there is a instrument cluster connection that can go bad behind the instrument panel. Is anyone aware of this or have more info?

Sounds like it could be a ground issue.

Another approach is a new system: SILVER LEAF
SilverLeaf Electronics, Inc. | Knowledge is Horsepower

I had a similar issue and installed the Silver Leaf VMSpc. Which gives me all the info that the dash gave and more. A few months later my faulty gauge started work again, but now I have both.
