I have a 1998 Sea Veiw 8330 with a Intellitec EMS panel that flashed a E1 error code. everyrthing seemed to work fine, I reset the shore power to clear and all was well. Does anyone know what may have caused this code and what I can do to avoid a repeat? It was my first time hooking up to shore power with this MH. Im new to the MH world and is my first MH.

Thank you and happy holidays!

This artical may help.

HEALTH AND SAFETY
ELECTRICAL – Respect Electricity – Play It Safe
TEST BEFORE YOU PLUG YOUR RV INTO THE CAMPGROUND ELECTRICAL OUTLET
• Failure to turn off the Campground Post Circuit Breaker before Plugging in or removing
your Electrical Plug could cause any of the following Safety Hazards:
1. The plug on your cord could arc and burn, damaging your plug, and injuring
you.
2. The Campground Post Electrical Outlet could arc and fail from this
damage.
3. This arcing could cause YOU personal injury. Less than 100 volts and 1/2 amp can cause
your heart to stop.
4. If the Campground Post Electrical Outlet is faulty, or your RV Plug is damaged, a
sparking Hazard could occur.
5. POLARITY: Check the Polarity with a Polarity/Ground/Open Circuit Tester BEFORE
you plug in. Reverse Polarity can cause damage to the Electrical System and its
Components; such as Air Conditioner, Furnace, TV, Refrigerator, etc.
6. GROUNDING: Check the Campground Post Electrical Outlet with an Electrical Tester
before you proceed to plug in your RV. This procedure also helps you identify the correct
Circuit Breakers for the outlet you are using. Your neighbor will not appreciate it if you turn
off their Electrical Power by mistake.
7. LOW VOLTAGE: Below 107 Volts AC; Using appliances and other equipment in your
RV with a voltage lower than 107 volts can increase the amperage draw on that circuit and
cause a fuse or Circuit Breaker to blow. Your convertor/battery charger and other
appliances may not work at all, or be damaged by the low voltage.
8. HIGH VOLTAGE: Above 130 Volts AC; your Convertor/Battery Charger will most likely
shut down automatically using a voltage above 130 volts. The lamps will burn out prematurely
and appliances could shut down; such as the Refrigerator.
Contact Campground personnel if these conditions exist. DO NOT USE THIS SITE, until repairs
have been made; or ask permission to use another site.
Happy Camping,
Fred b.

Hi... got his from another Forum... Strictly FYI...

First step.. UNPLUG from shore power... You can also call them, they are awesome techs to work with.. Good Luck... I'm sure this forum will give you plenty of help..

From the manual:

AC Overload
(the status indicator
blinks on 4 times every
4 secs)

The inverter has turned off because the
connected loads are larger than the
inverters output capacity or the output
wires are shorted.

Reduce the AC loads connected to the
inverter or remove all AC output wiring and
restart the inverter.

More from the manual:

Protection Mode
There are five fault conditions that will cause the inverter to
shutdown; Low Battery, High Battery, Over-temperature, AC
Overload, and Internal faults. If your inverter has shutdown,
monitor the status indicator and count the number of blinks that
occur every four seconds to determine the particular reason for
the shutdown. Once you have determined the reason for the
shutdown, refer to the Troubleshooting section to help diagnose/
clear the fault condition.

• Blinks on 1 time every four seconds - Low Battery fault.
• Blinks on 2 times every four seconds - High Battery fault.
• Blinks on 3 times every four seconds - Over-temperature fault.
• Blinks on 4 times every four seconds - AC Overload fault.
• Blinks on 5 times every four seconds - Internal fault.

Over-temperature condition
(the status indicator blinks on 3 times every 4 secs)

The internal temperature of the inverter has risen above acceptable
limits; caused by loads too great for the inverter to operate continuously, or by lack of ventilation to the inverter.
When the unit has cooled, it will automatically reset and resume operation.

Reduce the number of electrical loads that you are operating, this will avoid a repeat Overtemp shutdown if the cause was too many loads for the ambient conditions.

Check ventilation around the inverter, ensure cool air is available to pass-through the inverter.
