I have question on the interior upholstered pad above the entrance door!
I would like to recover the pad but cannot figure out how the pad is attached to the wall. The top is loose but the bottom is tight to the wall with no apparent means of attachment. Has anyone had any experience with the removal of this item. Any help is greatly appreciated!

If it's like ours the screws come from the outside of the door frame. They might be behind the weatherstrip.

Thanks Vegasdan, I lifted the edge of the weatherstrip on the outside and did see several screws that would be at the right level for the bottom of the "pad". That will be one of the many projects for Florida next month!! Thanks again..

Should have just 4 screws holding it on.
