inverter lock out
Newbie here,
I have a 2004 34' Sea Breeze with a work house W-22 chassis.
The 120v inverter works fine except driving down the road, the 120v plug by passenger seat does not. I assume thier is an ignition lock out while traveling.
The wife would like to be able to plug in the computer to charge the battery as we are driving down the road.
Any one a have an idea?
Thanks,
Gupster in Fresno

So the outlet works when in park? But not in drive?

I do not use my inverter so I am not much help, But, my understanding is that not all plugs are wired to the inverter. Using a test light you might find one in the kitchen to use.

Agreed. I hav 3 TVs and the passenger outlet that the inverter energizes. My wife uses the outlet to charge her phone and iPad while we are moving. All of the rest of the outlets are dead unles plugged in or genet running.

Does the plug-in work off the inverter when the engine is off.
The reason I ask is on my TW that outlet was not powered by the
inverter, that is until I changed it.

Depending on where the front one is located. If it can be used for a tv then it may disconnect with the ignition is turned on. This is so you can't watch tv while driving.
Need to know if it works on the inverter when you are parked and ignition is off. If it doesn't work with ignition off and inverter is on, is say its not connected to the inverter.
