Just curious

I just bought a 1998 National Tradewinds diesel pusher. 36 foot with all the options. I am curious as to what the retail price would have been in 1998 and what the diesel option would have added. Are there any original owners that would know the numbers. Thanks, I love reading on this forum and have learned quite a bit.

Did you try NADA Guides? They list 3 98' Tradewinds, 2 with slides and 275 or 300hp. I just glanced at the 300hp with a slide an it had a suggested retail of 140k.

I got the sticker with my 99 Tradewinds and with the Walnut option it was right at $159K. Yours was probably within a few percentage points of that. The walnut option was around $1500 and one of the few options available other than model. The Tradewinds was top of the line in 98-99 so they loaded it up and didn't offer many options. All were Diesel with six speed Allison Transmissions in that era so that didn't affect the price.
