I have an '06 Tradewinds 40C with a Magnadyne MKE 300 keyless entry system. I am trying to find the housing box which contains an LED light and a button that is used to reset the unit. The key fobs light up when pressed, and the outside keyboard lights if you touch it, but nothing happens. Magnadyne said that this box should have been mounted near the ignion switch, but so far I cant find it.

Thanks

I just bought the exact same coach and have been trying to find out how to program the keyless entry. The dealer has been no help and there is no paper work I can find on the entry system. Have you found the housing box yet? I have learned more from your posting than from anyone else.............Thanks

The control box is located to the drivers left, under the gear selector/parking brake area. Remove the side panel (Velcro) and you should find the unit. Its a small black box.
I have the directions on re programming it. Sorry but it will be later today before I can get my hands on it. When I do I will write again.

Got my hands on the manual. Re programming is not difficult, but it would probably be best if I scan it and e mail it to you. There is a lot of good information as well as a tech line phone number.
I will try to send an attachment of the manual to this. Hope it works, Im no computer guy!

Great.....Got the pdf file with no problem. I really appreciate your help. So far we really love the 40C. This is our first MH and we have alot to learn. It had 1400 miles on it 5 weeks ago and I've already put 5000 more on it. We drove from OKC to Yosemite and beyond with no issues other than the shower control faucet leaked. That was an easy fix once I found the Price Fister replacement parts. Again thanks for your help.
