I must be the dumbest on on this forum, but i take good notes on all the advice i get, and i will be able to pass it on to others who are in the same boat as me. I am thankful for the help all have given me, and without hesitation. Someone on this forum has solved every problem i have had. My payment to you will be to help others. I know i will have other situations that will come up with a MH. Thanks, rivrduk

You're not dumb, no one is. We've all been where you are at some point in our RV-ing lives. It gets easier as you gain experience & as you said, you'll be able to pass along your wisdom from your experiences to others.

After we bought our Tradewinds we felt like we started school over again. I have learned so much from others here and those we have met in our travels. Everyday is an adventure. And no, you are not the dumbest one on the forum, I'm first in line.

No where near!!

If you were like me, you thought, for the amount of money you paid, you just drive it, park it, connect everything, and all was peace and serenity. Little did you know you had to be a mechanic, plumber, electrician (both 12DC and 120AC) hydraulic technician, and HVAC techician.

The first time out, I was cringing everytime my wife said "oh oh!". I was ready to sell it or burn it. Didn't really care which! But once you get things figured out, it's pretty nice. And what else is there to do when your camping anyway!!

Thanks for writing, members like you make me feel much better! I guess what has caused me the most anxiety is i owned a travel trailer, bumper pull for 10 years that had many bells and whistles and never had one bit of trouble with it except tires. Everything worked extremely well even the large slide which was controlled by cables, now i have this MH that has the high dollar power gear slide and slide pins strip, levelers dont work, plumbing leaks, windshields come out and many other things happening all the time. Mine is 10 years old, but was well kept and looks like new both inside and outside. The previous owner kept it in climate controlled storage all its life, but i still love it. I am sure i will learn about it and be able to do alot of the minor repairs myself. As you said"what else does one have when they are camping." Rivrduk
