I am putting on new Koni fsd shocks on my seaview 31 foot 8310 model
motorhome in the front.

my question is do I have to put on Koni shocks also in the rear? or can
I go with Bilsteins or Monroe shocks in the rear?
has anyone put on different shocks in the front and different shocks in the
rear? or do you recommend staying with koni for all 4 shocks?

any help is appreciated. Frankie

As long as you don't mix the axle you'll be fine. I did what you're considering but after such an improvement in the front I replaced the rear too.

Had to replace my rear shocks a couple of years ago as I had a broken one and they replaced them with Bilsteins and this year I decided to change to fronts to see if that would help my slight wandering problem and used Konis for that. Yes, it did feel better,but I do have air suspension and a bit of wander is inherent with that. I have had no problem with having two different kinds of shocks front and rear.

We have the red adjustables on the front and FSD's on the rear as Koni doesn't make the FSD's for the 14,600# front axle we have. Bilstein used to make their Comfortrack for the front but they don't seem to have them now.

Go all the way around. I love them. Ride is 100% improvement over the Bilsteins.

Just had them put all the way around Wed. In Grants Pass, Ore. We are now on the coast near Astoria, oh my what a difference in the ride. If you can afford it go all the way around. By the way we have Seabreeze.

Put Koni's on front and rear, it is worth the price.

I installed Koni's and what a difference! With previous brand when going over overpasses the rear of coach would bounce up and down two or more times. With Koni's it only bounces once! More stabile ride, less jarring, pounding, and less wear and tear on structure/body/chassis. Best investment I ever made in improving the performance of my coach!

I have a 98 Seabreeze 31 and was wondering the same thing about Koni's shocks over Blistens due to the price. Lucky for me, I listen to the forum and went all the way around with Koni to replace the blistens I had on there. One trip was all it took for me to realize Koni was well worth the money. I would recommend going with shock warehouse (not just because they advertise on here) because one can research the net and find the best deal and they will match if not beat it...

Plus Shox.com gave me free shipping! I think when I bought them just before my 9,000 trip out west in 2011 I paid $167.00 each. As a note I put them on my coach at 23,000 miles and the rear Workhorse shocks were totally wore out, no rebound or compression resistance, nada, nothing. I noticed the improved ride first, but the dishes in the cabinet did not sound as noisy! LOL
