Well, i took my first trip of the year and the right back leveler is leaking and it never leaked all last year. It has been up all thru the winter months as i usually as mi always kept it. What could cause it to leak as it never has before? I called a hydraulic repairman and he said he could fix it if i would take it off and bring it to him. Heck, i looked under at the leveler and it is beyond me to take it off. Your opinions as to why it leaked!

Dry seal or a rusted shaft that tore the seal the first time you used it .
Can you post a picture of the jack , maybe I can describe the removal.

You'll have to have at least the seals replaced. Any competant mobile RV repair man can do it on site. I had both of my rear jacks fixed on site.

I have that same issue on my 2000 Tradewinds. I could not tell what your rig was, but Power Gear has a table for the repair kits for various jacks at the bottom of the page. Interestingly, not all RV dealers here in SE WI can handle the seal replacement job.
