my mh is plugged in to 120 volt 365 days per year. batteries usually last 6 years. no problems with 75 amp charger, 6 batteries. heat strips work below 40 degrees.

my old 1996 kountrystar stays plugged in to 120v 365 days per year. float charge ia 13.2 volts.

I agree, it's not really any different than full timing. I check the batteries every month. It takes so little time. In the winter I add water about every two to three months, in the summer it's more often, 1 to two months depending on the outside temps.

Charge up your batteries and then disconnect one of the terminals (knife switch or boat switch). They will be good for all winter but should be checked at about 3 months - use a car battery charger overnight.
Mine have survived for 5 years at temps of up to -32.C.
