Here's a pix of our 06 Tropical w/the new TV. Geez the old TV was heavy! I weighed it and the steel supporting it that I took out and it weighed 132 lbs. The new TV and supporting hardware weighs 33 lbs. I found some off white vinyl material that matches the ceiling material to cover the cutout from the original TV. Didn't like the surround speaker that was mounted below the TV so I cut up the plastic cover and covered it with some cloth headliner material and mounted the speaker behind the new TV. I think it cleans up the view out the front of the coach.
Also replaced the bedroom TV with a LED TV. Need to get a pix of it. Made a frame that hinges open and there's a nice storage compartment now behind the TV.

I'm just about done with installing a 32" Samsung LED in the front of our DSDP. Have the cabinet pretty much built but haven't replaced the padded vinyl yet. Headed out this weekend so I don't have time plus I want the DW to see how she likes the extra storage we gained. I suspect she'll load it with the VCR's and DVD's that we have in bags sitting on the floor in the bedroom!
I ended up having to move one upper cabinet door to clear the TV's edge and replacing the old sheet metal cabinet with plywood that's about 4" shorter. That makes seeing out the windshield better. I didn't want to try cutting and bending the old sheet metal without a bending brake.

Here's the bedroom TV. I need to get some longer cables and dress them neater. I used a piece of black speaker grill cloth under the TV. In the future I may add a DVD player in the space. Since the speakers face downwards, the grill cloth helps with the sound output.

Beautiful clean installation Don!

I would consider using stiffer door closing hardware. The tail end of the mh gets some violent movements that may swing that door open while traveling. Just a thought..
