I have a 2008 Pacifica that the kitchen drawers slide out when underway. It appears that they push in so far and then meet resistance at about the last inch. The ones that wont stay in do not have the resistance anymore. Is there an adjustment of some kind or can anyone advise where a replacement can be purchased. Thanks, Lieutenant

Lieutenant,
Because of the bouncing and other forces on drawers, they have various schemes to provide a "catch" to hold the drawers closed.

What you have described is a function of the sliders, wherein the drawer encounters friction in its last couple of inches of closure.

Since you have drawers which still function properly, you can compare the sliders and tracks of those to the ones which are loose. What you may find is a neoprene insert which has come dislodged or which may be worn.

The friction mechanism may be on the fixed track which is mounted againt the cabinet, or it may be on the slider which is attached to the drawer. If it is on the receier track it will be in the deepest part of the track which is mounted against the cabinet.

When I first saw the heading, I was going to suggest tightening the elastic or maybe wear suspenders....but I see you are talking about the pull out kind of drawers in a cabinet.

Most have a tab in the slide that you have to lift over to get the drawer out. See if you can locate this tab and bend it up slightly and try it. Not too much or you won't be able to open the drawer....and your drawers sure won't be loose.

I had a similar problerm that I solved by putting an extra spring loaded snap catch from Camping World on the drawers.

Chances are that with a little tweeking you can get them adjusted. As for in the future you do find you need replacement hardware, it can be picked up at most Home Depot, Lowes or Ace Hardware store.
