Low Water

Started my 2000 tradewinds yesterday and while it was ideling it said low water, however it went off as fast as it came on. speeded up the idle and it came on again, then went off as fast as it came on. Never done this before. Is the low water message mean that the radiator ismlow on radiator fluid. it never came on after the second time. Could it maybe the thermostat is not working as it should. It does not seem to be low on radiator fluid. rivrduk

had the same issue with mine...low water sensor would chime when the engine was cold....as soon as the engine warmed up the light would turn off and buzzer would stop. When I went around long sweeping corners it would trip the sensor as well and I would get an alarm....my fix was add a little coolant...if that doesn't work maybe the sensor is faulty.
