No I don't have a specific wrench to crenk her in in case of a failure, but it's not a bad idea. I believe they use the same bed slide on all their MHs. I use a special dry teflon spray I used to lube my snowmobile clutchs, just spray it on the nylon blocks, it's marketed as Comet clutch spray lube. It will not gum up with dirt and dust. I also like JP motorcycle chain lube for the rack and pinion lube, it sticks well and won't fling off, and, its water proof.
PS: i do have the prettier body.

TXiceman:

Thanks...I guess the saving grace of WD 40 is that "slight oily residue".

I have been considering the silicon spray that I use on my Power Gear jacks.

What do you use?

I use WD40 on my lift jacks because of its cleaning and depitting abilities. Be careful what you use on the cylinders as it could affect the seals. I spray them wait a minute or two, and then wipe them down.

I was in the Florida Natonal Ser. Ctr about 3 years ago and asked about the Squeak in the slides.
The tech. said lubeing is not the problem.
They put the slides out and showed me the Rub spots on the bottom of the slides, where it rubs across the Teflon block. They waxed the bottom of the slides with a good car wax and suggested doing this 2 to 3 times a year. The squeaks disappeared---I do it now and have no problems.

I was told way back, to clean the Hydraulic Jacks with Transmission fluid, as this is what was in the lines and it would not have any effect on the seals.
