Time to renew my MH insurance and I got a quote from Good Sam. The rep. gave me a quote from "Allied" but I am not familiar with this company and the quote was really a lot cheaper than I am currently paying. Has anyone had any experience with Allied. They are supposed to be affiliated with Nationwide Ins.

Thanks
Duane

I'm super happy with Geiko. They have both cars and the motorhome. It's worth a quote.

The Hartford from AARP beat Travelers and Progressive on mine (MH boat 2 trucks enclosed trailer by 1/2.If you are AARP try them. Even got a road service program from them included in MH and when I made a claim on a flat they paid it no problems.

Hey not to burst your bubble but have you considered joining the AARP. I know its cliché but they have discounts –AARP motorhome insurance. Hope you find a good deal!

We had AARP (some years ago, so things may have changed) - we had a breakdown and had to pay the tow bill and wait for reimbursement from the insurance company. Examine the policy carefully. We no longer have AARP

Do your own "review" of that company.... Add the word "review" to most anything and sit back and read!

I would suggest you contact Gilbert RV Insurance in Orlando Fl. They handle several companies and can give you several quotes. Saved me lots of money.

Allied is underwritten by Nationwide. If your shopping before you buy, I'd use the internet. It's easy to get quotes from so many different companies. Being retired military I use USAA and get a great rate for a good policy. It's underwritten by Progressive, whom I don't particularly care for (another story), but I'll stick with them till they gouge me like they did with my motorcycle policy. They seem to be notorious for coming in at a very low price then hitting you with big price increases a year later.

We have had Allied for 2 1/2 years. We have not submitted any claims, so I can't help there. We will get a quote with USSA when we get quotes for the car and house just to see if we can save.

We have had Allied for many years, ten I believe. Have had a few claims over the years and their service has been superb (1 ininsured motorist, 1 daughter DWHUA & totaled her car, 1 breakin, assorted small stuff) . We check rates for other companies every year, being careful to compare apples to apples as far as policy limits and extras. Nobody has been able to compete with Allied even.

Neither of us have yet to call and not get a human quickly and never have had my call go to "Cindy" with a thick accent.

We are not Allied agents, and any other disclaimer stuff required. Just long time satisfied premium payers.
