Mystery Switch

On the wall to the right of my stovetop in my 1996 DOLPHIN (535) is an illuminated switch. I thought it was the Microwave/Water Heater switch but it doesn't seem to do anything. Also it is a full size 120 v. switch w/ 2 wires on each side.

Assuming you have a diesel, could it be an engine block heater?

It's possible the switch is for the electric heating element in your water heater.

I have a house type wall switch under our galley sink for running our hot water heater on 120vac, however it's not illuminated.

Then there's a small rocker switch on the outside cabinet just under the sink that's for running water heater on propane which illuminates when turned on.

Good luck finding it's purpose and safe travels....

Just when I thought I knew next to nothing. I have a 96 Seabreeze limited. I have a switch like that. Mine is holding tank heaters. Good luck!

Hello to all who answered. It turns out it is the H2O heater electric element switch. Thank you.
