I have a friend that has a 2003 40' National RV Class A Islander and the passenger side has 2 large cracks that run vertical from top to bottom. The upper crack starts in the fridge side vent and runs to the top of the coach. The other crack runs from the bottom of the same vent and goes to the bottom of the coach.

Has anyone heard of this happening on other National RV coaches? Is this normal for this brand?

Thanks........

I had a few cracks show up on my 2001 National Tradewinds MH a few years ago. Mine were from a previous botched repair job where who ever fixed the damage used Bondo when filling in around the fiberglass. Was yours in an accident before or are you the original owner?

I wish I could be more specific, however Islanders were prone to sidewall cracks. Your friend could possibly get more info on the Yahoo forum NationalRV : National_RV
