how would you compare the quality of the 2004 tropi-cal diesel to the monaco lines at similar price

IMHO, unfavorably.
I feel Monaco makes a better product.

Now I would disagree with Route 66 here. I compared the 2 brands prior to my last purchase, I chose the national. Better value for the $ I felt.

both monaco and national had good products ,in certain product groups.thats why monaco bought specific items of national at auction.the major difference between the two companies is that monaco is still in business.

It looks like it is running 75% for Monaco...and this isn't even posted in the Monaco forum. Imagine what the % would be if you were getting feedback from the Monaco owners!
