Is the BT-178 a number on the bulb? It doesn't show in any search I've made for fog light bulbs.

Mine are round and have a bluish tint to them. One has a hole in it and still works, but I'd like to replace them.

Yes, the number is on the lense, there is no name or number on the housing itself.
Thanks

tradewinds73, have you removed the light fixture from the RV? There might be numbers or manufacturer info hidden that will become evident. Also laying the unit on a blank background would enhance Google Images ability to search for the photo and find a match. Posting that photo on here would also help us help you find the item. You've not given any information beyond 'BT-178'. How about shape, dimensions, etc? To further muddy things up, bigdog has jumped in and added his quest to OP tradewinds73's search. tradewinds73, Googling "2002 National Tradewinds 7391" turns up mostly images of RVs with round lights inset low in the bumper. However, one "2002 National RV Tradewinds 7391 LTC Founders Edition" on YouTube shows up with larger, oval lights in the bumper.

Generally, true fog lights are white or yellowish in color. Yellow helps penetrate fog better. Bluish tinted lights are sometimes Xenon HID lights, halogen, or just blue tinted bulbs trying to imitate HID lighting. They are sometimes called 'Rally lights' or just 'Driving lights'. Bulbs that give light over 4200ēK are illegal in most cases.
