I have a noise coming out of my basement air. The fan that circulates the air through the coach sounds like it is rubbing against the housing. I tried to see if I could access that fan but nope. SO I tried to get a model # off the unit but the genius that sprayed the undercoating on the coach sprayed over the model #. I cannot find any owners manual in the national paperwork and I am afraid to try to clean off the undercoading with anything because it may wipe off all the #s on the label.
So, does anyone have a late 2007 dolphin that could look at their basement air unit and see if they can find a model # for me.
Oh, and the Coleman site STINKS. There is no search or support portion. Unless there is another Coleman site for RV AC units.

Thanks

Mike I can't help with the part #, however have you been looking at the RVP Products web site?

Fred, after more searching, I found that site too. But I didn't look around it beyond the specific manual showing the configuration of the unit. Found the one that looks like mine. But your link actually got me to other parts where I got more information. Including the 2 year warranty info. Yippee!!! My coach is just over a year old and I thought I would be needing to use the extended warranty.
Are these units not part of the Coleman dynasty of AC products? It has me wondering because I coudl not find any info on the Coleman site.

Fred, thank you for the link. It really helped.

Mike, when I was looking over the site it appeared that the units with heatpumps may all have the same part number, looked like that model was lumped together. The warranty really helps matters.

I know, there were quite a few different ones with heat pumps. In my case, I just looked for the configuration that looked like mine. Yes, no kidding on the warranty. Now the challenge is to find a 'approved' warranty place close to home.
A friend sent me a link on a guy who rebuilt some of his basement AC unit.
Basement AC removal and blower replacement

It was very informative and he documented it very well. Unfortunately, my issue is the other blower. At any rate, it is a great thread.
