Just bought a used 2006 Dolphin 5342. Love the coach. Sorry National RV out of business. Did not deter my decision though. Looking forward to talking to other National RV owners.

Just to give you a head start on topics you will be researching...
-Replacing the front TV
-All those %*# 3-way valves on the water system, and winterizing
-Does that little solar panel work (nah!)
-Battery compartment degradation
-Slow gray water tank draining
-Finding & replacing the filter for the basement A/C
-Why the power jacks alarm won't stop screaming
Enjoy your Dolphin. We love ours.

Gosh, what have you been doing, I have not experienced any of the items you mention.

Wjmt001, I believe it's important to become familiar with your coach, using all the internet experiences at your disposal. The two sites listed below are a good source of information.

RV Net

Yahoo, National Owners forum

Enjoy

Fred

Welcome to the Forum, Wjmt001. Lots of folks here who have had the same problems you may encounter. Don't be afraid to jump right in, there are no questions not worth asking. You have found one of the best sources of RV information on the Internet. Looking forward to hearing from you.

I'll add my welcome too!! I haven't been here to long, but have already found tons of useful information and people willing to help to solve problems. The list that two2go posted seems to be pretty accurate, I've had to deal with most of them. He has some great information when it comes to replacing your front TV, but I had to go one step beyond his instructions, my 04 Dolphin had an upper bracket that I couldn't see and the screws were almost hidden. When your time comes let me know since my experience is recent and you don't need to do like I did, disassemble everything from the drivers seat forward unless you feel adventurous and want to do some upgrades that are out of sight.

Welcome to the forum. I can report without hesitation that after full timing in our 05 5376 for over 2 years, we are 98% trouble free. Never been stranded. Gen set works flawlessly and all systems work as well as can be expected for a house that can travel at 65mph on the freeway. I'm handy with tools and I keep up after the coach with regular PM's. I've got a few project I'm working on but nothing that causes me any concern.
