New member, new MH, and a question

Hello all, first post. First motorhome. 2007 Sea Breeze 1321. We love it, and have put 1100 miles on in just two weeks so far. Leaving in a few hours for a trip to the coast. A few days ago the check engine light came on orange/yellow colored. We were a ways from home, and everything seemed fine, so we continued on. Fast forward a week. I bought a scan gauge II and when I went to install it I cannot find the OBD II port! Should be under the dash somewhere everyone tells me. I found out the chassis builder usually ties it up temporarily, and the coach builders sometimes mount them, it sometimes don’t. I have looked, and looked. Poked, and proddd under there and I just can’t find it. Frustrating. Can any of you National owners help? Could they have shoved it in the engine comp? Or what? Thanks in advance.

Not sure which Chassis you have but on my Ford F53 V10 I found it zip tied to the steering column up under the dash. It was on the top of the steering column and very hard to find but it was there. Had to get on my back under the dash. Keep looking you will find it.

Good luck

Ok, thanks Mike. Yes, I should have said, it’s a Ford f53 chassis. I’ll keep looking.

If you haven't found it yet, it may have a cap on it. Using a mirror and light makes if easy to find.
