Does anybody know how to remove the TV that is above the dash on my recently acquired 2004 Dolphin RV. I want to remove the existing large TV and replace it with a flat screen, but I cannot see a reasonable way to remove the outside moulding to get the TV out

Welcome to the forum. Different installations makes an answer difficult. Maybe you could post some pics or wait until someone with your type RV comes along.

Hello,
Congratulations on your new coach. Not sure if your coach is similar to ours, but ours has a front frame that surrounds the TV & comes out w/4 screws mounted through the doors on each side. First remove the wood plugs and the screw will be exposed. Once the frame is removed you should see a metal frame that secures the TV. On our coach the plastic cover under the TV was removed to access the framework. Take a look at my post that shows our new install & see if it looks similar to yours.
LED TV Replacement

Ours had a 27" TV which we replaced w/a 32" LED TV.

Take a picture of your current setup. I replaced the 27" tube with a Vizio Razor 32". The tv fits perfectly behind the wood frame. With about $20.00 of screws, wood and weather strip you can mount the Vizio right in to the frame in about 2 hours. This subject has been posted dozens of times. Some of the solutions seemed rather complicated, some....... so simple. You can call me if you need a little help. 408-461-RICK
