New Seabreeze Tires

This is my first post here and I'm hoping for some advice on tires. I've got a 2005 Seabreeze LX 8321 W-22 that is in the shop being serviced. I was told I should replace all 6 tires (they're 10 years old). The size is 235/80-r22.5. I was told the Michelin XRV tire is a good fit--anyone use this tire?

I just replaced the tires on my 2005 8360 W-22 with New Michelin XRV's. I got 76000 miles out of the old Michelins with no problems, so I'm a Michelin Guy....Luv um.

By the way... WELCOME TO IRV2.

Bill

I use them, they have been excellent..... and I'm about to replace all 6 tires with the same Michelin 235/80R-22.5 tires. Your best price will likely be through the FMCA Org. Google it....check out their Michelin Advantage Program and only $50 to join. Good advice! Rook

I just replaced all 6 of my tires on my 2008 Sea Breeze with Michelin XRVs in the 235 80R 22.5 size purchased through the FMCA Michelin Advantage program. I figure I saved about $130 per tire over going direct with my local dealer. It was a fairly easy process and took only 10 days or so for the dealer to get the tires in and just an hour or so for mounting. Also, welcome to IRV2!
Alan.

Thanks for the responses, nothing better than talking to people with similar issues. I think I'll like it here!

Just ordered 6 new Michelin 235/80/22.5 XRV's to replace the the original XRVs which have just dated out at 7yrs. Love the handling and ride of the XRVs so did it again! Got 3 different quotes using the FMCA National Account Advantage plan from 2 dealers in Eugene,Or and 1 in Sutherlin,Or. The low price for 6 new XRVs was $2757.48 mounted, installed, spin balanced, solid valved stem exchanged, out the door! I got the last set of 6 currently in stock in this area.
FYI-all 3 dealers said the 235/80/22.5 XRV is now on back order from the regional warehouse in Reno,NV, they have no idea when they will get more, One of the dealers said it could take up to 2 months sometimes to get them since that is a very popular size. Better plan to order early and get in line if you need them soon!
