I have had smaller Type-Cs and had no problem driving those and I drive my big diesel straight (27 feet) truck to the Bed/furniture stores I run sometimes Will it take me long to adapt to a 39 footer ?
Looking at a 7390 LTC tradewinds 330HP cat six speed tranny.

Here is what I had to adjust to......the air brakes, the width (about 11 feet including mirrors) and the stopping distance. All-in-all, a piece of cake. Rook

As one who knows, you'll love your 7390 LTC.It's the perfect rig to own..Had ours for 1 1/2 years now and the only major problems were those caused by whoever worked on it before we got it.
It's really easy to drive, just watch your tailswing and when you corner swing out and watch the curbs and corner signs as it will tend to turn shorter and quicker.I drive a school bus and have to be careful when I switch as the MH will turn inside the school bus.
Really make sure that the unit has been serviced before you get it as that's something that can be expensive.Have the brakes, shocks, etc checked and the tires for age.If at all possible have the engine and tranny checked by a competent mechanic and netter yet, take it to a Cat or Freightliner shop and have the diagnostics run on it.It it's amazing the things you'll find in those printouts.

I don't know what Vett you own but I know as the owner of 20+ Vetts over the years it was always tough to give up a Vett for something other than another one!

Totally agree sold my first Corvette (77) to buy a house, as soon as I could afford it I bought another one (75) low mileage Black leather, silver paint with black bumpers (they need painted) L-48 great runner needs control arm bushings and it would be ready to drive to L.A. if id go to Calif.

So it sounds like they are asking around $65k for the RV? That seems HIGH, very HIGH... If it was at 100% all the way around, it would still be High (not VERY high)... But i guess that depends on the year, i'm assuming its around a 1999-2002??? I'd keep the Vet, Sell the C on craigs list, and offer them $40k for it, cash out the door (if you can) and see what they come at you with... It sounds like you're dealing with a dealer, and the used motorhome market right now is in SUCH a buyers market its Crazy... If you don't like what they say, find another one for the right price somewhere else...
As for getting used to an A - I literally learned how to drive in my Parents Southwind. When i was 14 i was given the keys, and I-70, and told to keep it between the ditches... My parents sat and watched a movie or two or three and my little sister and I drove across Colorado, kansas, and most of Missouri playing on the CB... Its like any thing with wheels, it takes a trip or two around the block to get used to it... I think i put 4k miles on that RV that summer!! I love the A - I had a C for the past 4 years and man i'm glad to be in an A again!! I won't go back!!!

I don't know what year yours is, but check the book on it.The book on my '01 is still higher than mine and I got it 1 1/2 years ago.You have a lot less mileage than mine. Mine was at 80K when I bought it,but the Credit union never even blinked when they got the info on it.I was $20K under book when I got it.I believe they only made the 7390 for a few years and they're all REAL wood, have the awnings and slide toppers, the washer/dryer and several other cool things.
