Just a hello to members of the forum. My name is Tom Robira (Paleontologist, retired) and my wife is Carol Martin (US Forest Service, retired) We purchased our 1999 National Sea View 32 ft RV in November of 2006, only 16,000 miles and in almost new condition, in anticipation of our retirements in 2007. Since taking ownership we have made several 4-5 day juants around Arizona with very few problems, all have been addressed with aftermarket warrenty. Our biggest problem has been the length of time that srvice departments have kept our rig when it was in for repairs, 2 times now and both were 4 weeks in length (Beaudry and Pedata both in Tucson). We will be taking longer trips in the near future. Before taking off we need to have an inverter installed that can power an O2 concentrator that can fill portable bottles for use outside of the RV, hope it won't take 4 weeks . I'm not able to do a lot, depend on service depts, so any helpful hints or suggestions would be invaluable to us, especially if from a 99 Sea View owner. I have noticed on postings that owners have a number listed after their RV type, where do you get the number? Also do people list the modifications that they have added to their RV's, what is the benefit of the spark plugs and ECM? We are glad to have founf this site and are looking forward to the assistance that it looks to provide.

Welcome
Glad to have you with us. Not sure how big of an inverter you would need, but this would be a place to start http://www.rvsolarelectric.com/ they are in Scottsdale not sure about installation. There are smaller inverters that only require two wires to the battery. Good Luck and keep us posted. They do have installation service

Tom,

The numbers you made REF. to is the modle #, for 1999 SeaView made an 8310 and 8331. Not sure but the 8310 had 1 slide room and the 8331 had 2 slides.

Fred,

Thanks for the info., went to the site and found quite a few here in Tucson with excellent/good ratings. A big suprize was the excellent rating that La Mesa RV had, they are a very large Dalership just across the street from Beaudry who has poor ratings.

Regards, Tom

Bill,

Actually Tom would be just fine, The Allosaurus comes from some of the field work that I had been involved with in paleontology.

Regards, Tom
