New to us"old" Dolphin

We recently sold our late model Tiffin (Ford chassis) and purchased an 04 National RV Dolphin. I love the workhorse chassis. Can't wait for the first National RV rally.

I have a 04 Dolphin and love it! We bought just to play with until retirement and then upgrade. We retired 2 years ago and haven’t upgraded and probably won’t.

After attending several RV Shows and looking at a lot of new coaches, We wouldn't trade our 2004 Dolphin straight across for a new one, after owning 3 other coaches this is by far the very best!!!!

We own a 2004 Dolphin also. It's a 5342 and we couldn't be happier with it.We bought an older RV to be sure we liked the lifestyle before upgrading.Love the workhorse chassis !! As far as I'm concerned this is a keeper !! No need to upgrade.

Although I don't have a Dolphin (ours is a Seabreeze), I think the Nationals were super well made. I have massaged ours to just the way we wanted it, with many many upgrades and additions. We also bought ours with the intention of upgrading but we never found another motor home that we would trade for.

Now unfortunately because of DWs health we are probably going to put it up for sale. Now might be a good time for that since there are probably many people from the Fla panhandle in need of a good buy.

Can't imagine what those poor folks went through.

Like you we have a SeaBreeze LX, and so far have not seen a new one we would trade for. Ours is super solid. When we bought we had a choice of a 2005 Dolphin or our 2006 SeaBreeze LX and my wife loved the interior of the SeaBreeze LX, so that's what we got. The Dolphin had 3 slides and a larger fridge, but the lighter cabinets and upholstery won the day.

We bought our 2004 Dolphin 5342 in 2005 after searching this site and others and asking the question, 'what is the best gas MH?' So many owners recommended the Dolphin that we started looking at different model Dolphins. Buying the Dolphin has turned out to be a great decision.

We have attended a number of RV Shows and looked at other gas Mhs and $1M diesel pushers, wouldn't trade our Dolphin for any of them. The amount of storage, inside & out, is outstanding compared to other mfgrs. I'd like to have the ride of a diesel pusher, but I can live with the slightly rough ride.

There is a Dolphin Club in So Cal that I think is still active. Do a Google search.

I could not agree more.We have friends that have much more expensive MH's than ours, but I wouldn't trade. Our old rig is solid as a rock and dependable.I plan to keep this one until we can't travel anymore.

Bought our 06 brand new in 07, a leftover that has been great. Nothing but maintenance and a couple of minor issues. Did do the RVamour roof this last January as a long term preventative.

The only reason we have thought of trading it is to go to a 40' diesel with opposing front slides. I work from the motorhome on our extended trips, most, and if the weather is bad out the coach get real cozy with my office taking up the front corner behind the passenger seat.
