On Craigslist you could use some key words people may search for. I had good luck selling our houseboat by putting on a new ad everyday with different info about the unit and removing the old ad.
Good luck

Maybe you should share your listing here so others can critique it? When we sold our SeaView we listed it on Craigslist and it sold within a week....That was four years ago and if itís as clean as you state it should sell given the current market.

I have read several times that for Craigslist ads to price the item what it is worth and say the price if firm.

I think that would violate forum rules since it's not listed here.

I had no luck on Craigslist. One phone call in a month that went to voice mail and all it said was "Yeah, is it still available". No name or call back number and for some reason it didn't show in caller ID. I was about 15% under retail ($6K vs $7k)

I thought most people respond to craigslist ads via email.

When I sold my Mirada on Craigslist, I had a lot of good photos, along with descriptions.

I had the same listing on my web site and on this forum.

SOLD – SOLD – SOLD – 2001 Coachmen Mirada 300QB

I also put a poll in the ground in my driveway near the MH and mounted a mailbox to it. I printed 20 copies of the for sale flyer and put them in the mailbox.. ..

The biggest selling point I've found is LOTS of Large good Quality pic's up the ying yang..
and RVTrader is a workable venue as well..

Why not list it in classifieds here?

I agree. When I sold our last motor home I posted 40 large pictures. Make sure they are good quality, not poor cell phone pictures. Post them in some logical order, like around the outside then in through the entry and from front to back.

Have someone knowledgeable edit your ad.
Check your pricing with both NADA RV price guide and other motor homes like yours within + or - 1 year on RV Trader.

My guess is you are asking too much. Without knowing the price, its pretty hard to help. As stated, list it on rvtrader as well. Try listing it in the forum, then tell us which one it is.

Yup, wasnít sure about that. So, as someone else mentioned, put it up on either the classified or RVTrader and let us know which one it is.

Also, I had a ton of pictures and descriptions about our SeaView. Pictures were laid out as if you were touring the coach. I received a lot of emails which in turn sparked phone calls.

Tradewinds now listed

Thanks for the input. I have now listed on our classified. I would appreciate suggestions. I thought list a little high and leave room to bargain. Might have been wrong thought. Thanks
