No power to transmission control pad

2003 Trop i cal 35' DP, with Allison 6 speed trans. When I try to start the rig, I get a check trans light and alarm. The engine will not turn over and I also have no power to put the jacks down.

From searching this site, it appears to be the VIM for the trans or the power to the VIM.

Anyone know where the VIM would be located on this vintage of rig?

Thanks, Marc

You might want to post your question over in the Allison Trans forum!

Thanks Doug, I did and got some excellent advice.

It was the power supply wire to the VIM. Wire was broken.

I replaced the wire and it now runs fine.

This forum is a lifesaver.
