Well here we go again a "NEW" marketing/sales appointment. Is this 3 or 4 in recent history?

NRV Announcement

Interesting, I met Niles Whitehouse at this past Hershey Show. He seemed to be very pleasent and genuine. We discussed several issues that he felt needed some looking into. We also discussed some of the recent releases regarding bonus pay outs to the executive staff, and continuing money problems for NRV. He was addiment that it was not in any way an across the board handout, and wished these stories were more factual. NRV is in the throws of some major restructuring, and has a line up of new product on the drawing boards. Myself, I gave him until 2010 for the a new Tradewinds with a big engine and tandem axles, or I'm going to look at some used Prevost units. His response was, STAY TUNED

Well at least they are trying with new/different blood. Hopefully this will turn the tide.
OK, the comment about stay tuned. I hope Niles was not doing a typical marketing thing with that comment.
Granted, current choices are not bad, IMO, with the slimming down of the current lineup of coaches and choices within each name, they really can only go up from there. But like many companies trying to get better, they went back to a core set of products to refine them and expand from there.
I dunno, Tradewinds with a big engine and tandem axles. That one will be a tough one in the market with all the other manufacturers out there that have been doing that for a while. It will have to offer something the others don't to stand out. I wish them luck.
