on off switch hot water heater 1996 Dolphin

Hi. Just bought 1996 Dolphin and can't find the switch to activate my hot water heater. It is an electronic ignition type. Looked high and low and cannot find it. Help?
Manual of no help, just says there is a switch....

Hi Stan, and welcome to I RV2. I can't realy help on you unit , other than to say, you wouldn't be the first with this problem. On my 4 , 5th wheels the switch was , on 3 units above the sink and on the last below the counter near the sink. In my class A it's above the dash with the slide controls. So there is no standard location. But! all have been a black rocker switch with a red ignition indicator led attached. I am sure some one will post soon with the exact location. Your answer is coming soon .

On my 2004 the switch in in a panel of other switches in the hallway. It says 12 volt water heater, because it sends 12 volt to the electronic ignition .. Hope this helps.

I think it is located in the hood switch pack above the stove. If memory servers me correctly that's where it was in my 95.

Hi Stan, I know our MHs are different models but these pics may give you a hint as to what you are looking for. On my Pace there are two switches, 1 is for 12v. Propane, and the other is to select 120V between the Microwave and the Water Heater. The 120v switch is above the stove top on the bottom of the microwave cabinet. The 12v. Propane switch is in the hall and as you can see it is clustered with the other controls. Just FYI on mine, the 120v seems to have priority over the 12v. Propane if both are in the 'on' position.

On my Tradewinds, it's in the hall on the control panel, right hand side, labeled "heater". Rook

In my 02 Dolphin it's on the panel with the tank levels, water pump, and so forth. In the hall.

SUCCESS!! I found it in the hall!

I'm pretty mechanically inclined and feel pretty silly...

This is a great site - and I thank you all for all your help!!

I'm sure I will need help in the future - nice to know there is a place to get some!

Thanks!!!
