Operators Manual

Hallo everybody; Carole and I will be at the Rally in Tennessee. We are in need of the operators manual (not the owners manual) for our 2000 Tradewinds. We are on site 156 and hope that somebody can get us a copy when we are there. Looking foreward to have a drink with somebody.
Of course we will reimburse for the expenses occured. Thank you Gerald

I'm pretty sure there is no "Operators Manual" for these Tradewinds. I have scanned all the documents that came with our 1999 Tradewinds and one wasn't in there. I had the two blue folders that National provided with the coach. There are several Owners Manuals here https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=ae67f...2766057%212101 and a lot of other documents you may find usefull, if you don't already have them. If your looking for Frieghtliner Chassis docs then there is a folder with a Owners Manual there. There is also a good Allison manual in another folder.

There is a Freightliner "Chat" every Wed. at 9 PM EDT, just click on the Chat Room link in the topmost link bar on any page at iRV2 to join in and get advice from some guys that know a lot.

Ask a specific question on the National Forum National RV Owner's Forum - iRV2 Forums and I'm sure someone will be able to help.

I just saw your post in the other document thread.... Sorry in any case your welcome.
No Worries Mate

Good Luck!

Dick

Hi there....my husband and I sure enjoyed the photos of you motorhome! We have just about identical floor plan except for the couch on the passenger side. We just purchased it a few months ago. You sure did huge renovations. I see you even painted it, which would be a interest to me at some point. Would it be too much to ask a ball park on the price of something like that so we can save up?

The prices I have heard have been between 12K and 20K depending on how much you get done. Some (VegasDan) have just done the lower section and got by with 2K to 3K and then added new Vinyl stripes at another 2500 or so. My paint job only cost me $7500 but it was the first one the guy here in Albuquerque did and he really didn't know how much work four colors and clear coat would be. He told me after the job was done that he wouldn't do it again for less than 12K. So I just got lucky. Neither one of us knew how much his paint guy was going to do and he didn't watch him close enough so he painted the White, Bottom Section dark gray, Gold stripes, and silver stripes before he could be stopped. He even removed the black mask before painting the white.

Check out Dan's Thread http://www.irv2.com/forums/f105/star...nds-61199.html and send him a PM, I bet he would share his costs with you. His will be much closer to what you will need.

Dick
