We just bought a 1999 36' Tropi-cal 6350. It has some issues I will be asking help for. First, a section of the outside bottom blue has been restored and is a shiny blue. Hubby has been trying to restore the rest of it but we are unable to bring out the same color blue. He has used polishing compound, a resin wax mix and just plain wax. Nice but not nice enough. Any suggestions?

Louise

If you are handy, respraying the coach in the areas that need touching up is a project that can give good results. Prep work is the key: sanding, priming, masking off the areas next to those that are to be touched up. A Craftsman small compressor, a gravity spray gun from Walmart, basecoat and clearcoat paint that are the same as the original colors all that are needed. Patience is also a key. Great feelings of accomplishment when done plus the coach looks great.

Search the forums for Red Max Pro - you'll find numerous threads on this easy, inexpensive, highly satisfactory way of bringing back an oxidized fiberglass surface.
