I have always had trouble opening the door on my Dolphin. If you just pull on the paddle, it will not open no matter how hard you pull. If you push in on the door, it will open easily by pulling on the paddle. This tells me that there is too much pressure on the door. I have tried to find an adjustment but I can not find any thing to adjust on the door or on the striker plate. I have lubed it many times but no help. Do any of you know how to adjust this door so some of the pressure can be relieved. Thanks in advance for your help.

I have found on our door (2004 Dolphin) if the pins that are part of the door mechanisim are too tight our door doesn't open or close easily. On the end of the pin is a slot for a screw driver. I just leave the pins backed off about 1/2 turn and everything works great.

For the paddle style latches the adjustment is made by working with the metal piece the latch strike goes into. It screws into the frame opening and you adjust it by adding a couple washers between the back of this plate and the opening frame and then rescrew it. You might have to use longer screws.
