Plexiglass Screen door kit

Anyone have any thoughts on converting the screen door into a solid panel door... possibly made out of plexiglass or the like? Wondered if there was a kit that could be bought as opposed to cutting it out yourself?

I've not seen a kit, but many DIY instructions on the interwebs. Many have used plexiglas, but Lexan polycarbonate seems to have a number of advantages. This is a pretty good step-by-step:

Some have used velcro or double sided tape, others report that can the panels fall or blow off in heat and windy conditions. The twist clips seem pretty good looking, others have just drilled and screwed the plexiglass or Lexan to the frame, which I'd think could cause cracks at the screws.

I had Lowe's cut two plexiglass panels for my screen door. Then installed stick-on Velcro around the edges of them and the frame around the screen. In the winter I can have the door open for more light and in nice weather I remove the plexiglass and slide it under the sofa to have my screen door back. By using the white Velcro everyone is amazed that you don't notice it. Looks like a storm door.

We built one for the redwood we just returned....
went to lowe's as well with my measurements and they did it in 10 minutes...
used mirror hangers to hold it in...

haven't pursued it with the motorhome since it has a PICTURE window up front

Home Depot cut the plexiglass to the measurements I took. I used velcro to attach as well.

In summer I run a strip of black electrical tape around each panel to better seal in the AC. Black matches the screen door, so it's barely noticeable.
