Porch light switch doesn't work inside light

The switch has a left on middle off right on option. The right on option operates the tiny inside light which is a sealed unit tagged as. JRV products a4120BL. 12058. 31090. Feb 2004

Anyone hVe any experience with fixing this inside light

Also under the JRV label is Manufacturers name. SoLiCo 14V made in Mexico

It is possible that the small light you are talking about is bad, but did you know that when the switch for this light is in the "on" position, the light only comes on when the door is open.

The light works fine when door opens!

Never used it before always have porch light on
