I learned very early in life not to twist, pull, push anything unless you know the correct way to do it. So here goes: On my 2000 tradewinds model 7373 is the 50 amp power cord removeable from the coach by twisting or pulling. I am sure it is, but will not attempt to do it until i know for sure. Kinda of a rookie question, but i am a rookie to the MH world as i am sure many of you know by now by the questions i ask. By spring i should have most of the info i need to put me on my way. Thanks, Rivrduk

If you are refering to the plug on the unit. Most 50 amp power cords require a slight twist to the left then pull straight out. Some also has a locking ring that must be loosened by twisting to the left.

May have to work it up and down while pulling. Also remember to turn off the circuit breaker before removing.

For the plug on the post, just pull straight out.

My Tradewinds cord twists to the left, but push it in while turning to the point where it stops. Then wiggle slightly while putting some pulling pressure to remove. Hope this helps.

I use a plug dog on the cord end and it allows you to pull the plug straight out very easily. They are sold all over the place. Google it. Here is one:

If you have a MarineCo plug and inlet on your coach, (Common on 50 amp rigs) you should have a yellow boot with a black ring.. Depending on which optional ring you have you either unscrew the ring (I prefer that one) or turn it slightly to the left and pull (I have those too but do not use them)

Then pull the black ring back onto the yellow boot as far as it goes

THEN push and twist the yellow boot and the assembly inside to the left (Counter clockwise) as far as it will go (not very far) wiggle and pull to remove.

Re-insertion is reverse procedure.. always push in while turning.
