We have a 97 Dolphin and have seen some fluid lose after sitting for a while and the jacks down alarm came on. The leak was coming out of the side of the tank, nylon shaft, with two wires coming out. I assume this is a low fluid switch. When I checked the tightness of this the whole unit turned about3/4 of a turn, so I held the shaft tight and snuged up the switch. Ran the jack down and then raised and the jacks down light will not go off even when full of fluid. Did I possibly twist wires or what? The inline 10 amp fuse coming out is still good. Any info be appreciated.

You need to position the switch the way it was, then hold it and then tighten it up.

Where the wires go into the fitting, you will notice that there is a round and a pointed area on the fitting. The rounded portion of the fitting should be at 12 o'clock and the pointed portion should be at the 6 o'clock position. When in this position, the switch is aligned properly in the fluid tank and should make the "jacks down" light go out [assuming there is the proper level of fluid in the tank. The fluid level should be right at the base of the fluid filler neck when the coach is level and the jacks are ALL THE WAY UP.
