It's past the more crowded part of Fort Myers Beach but be aware that they are doing road construction on the entire length of Estero Blvd;they're widening the road. Traffic is a little heavy but constantly moving & not as heavy near Red Coconut until 5:00ish pm. Fort Myers Beach is beautiful with crystal clear water. Sanibel & Captiva are amazing also but get there between 9:00-10:00. I didn't find it "dirty" at all & because there's only one road into Fort Myers Beach (& only one lane each way) there is traffic on the bridge into & where the pier is when entering FMB. I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time.

If you want "right on the beach", Camp Gulf in Aug, Sept & Oct is amazing! Other times are too expensive or water too cold. Still a little expensive in those months but your not going to rent a beachfront suite for the price they charge.

Looks like we may have to change from the red coconut after all. They called and said since the road was being widened the 4th row reservations would have to be repositioned. Not sure they are gonna gave room for us when the time comes. [emoji31]
