Privacy windshield curtains - Didn't take to washing!

I moved our MH to covered storage this weekend, I said to DW now would be a good time to take the privacy curtains for the windshield down and give them a bath. Told her they felt slightly "rubberized" on the back and not sure if they would take well to washing. I also figured if rubberized could not tolerate dry cleaning. She said she would wash them......now we are face with peeling rubberized backing on the curtains. She feels that she could line them and use that way, I think they will get too bulky if lined.

Now we wonder if there is a source for replacement curtains ready to fit, I figured I would start here on my search. Any ideas?

Maybe test a can of spray rubber available at Lowes will work. If it works, then buy additional cans as needed.

Would these work, Tom?

Windshield Curtains, Beige 130" to 190"W x 32"L-pplmotorhomes.com

If not, my wifey spoke with her dress making friend, who said anybody that sews for a living, including upholstery shops, could do the curtains for you, especially since you already have a template they can use.

Camping World has two styles in custom sizes.
Search - windshield curtains - Camping World

Be sure to check prices CW is hardly ever the best price.

I found a good selection both in size and color at what seems to be a good price on eBay. Just searched RV Windshield Curtain and s bunch came up. Most had free shipping!
