Problem with Interior Thinlite ceiling Lights

Hello,

I have a 2000 Tradewinds that I am having a problem with the thinlites above the kitchen counter and the middle thinlite in the front area of the motorhome. When I go to turn on these ceiling lights individually the rope ceiling lights above the kitchen cabinets light up. The interior ceiling thinlites try to illuminate but are very very dim. I have replaced the ballast in both thinlites. I have also replaced the flourescent lights in both of the thinlites. I still have the same problem. Has anyone experienced this problem and what did you do to fix the problem where these overhead thinlite ceiling lights would operate properly?

Welcome to iRV2.
Sorry I can't answer your question , but wanted to say , Hi, and hope someone has an answer for you soon.

Were you checking power and grounds as you were working on the lights ?

Send a message via ICQ to Fred and Bonnie
I was not aware that NRV used rope lights in 2000, possibly others can answer. The possibility exists that a PO made the modification.

I agree with Fred, could be someone added lights to your rig and thats causing problems. also I just got an email about how to upgrade florescent lights to LED,, came from "How To RV Geeks" might be something to try..

Yes, I checked power and grounds as I worked on the lights. I am the original owner of the coach. The rope lights were in the coach above the cabinets when I got the coach.
