Are there production numbers (or estimates) for National Dolphins anywhere to be found? We have a 1995 533 with a front-facing, L-shaped couch and no dinette, and we really like the unusual (as opposed to the typical sideways couch, dinette, center aisle floorplan) layout. I've only seen one or two other coaches with this layout, which was shown in the 1994 Dolphin brochure but not the 1995, and I wondered if it's wildly rare, or what?

You are right I don't believe I have seen that floorplan. Is it a diesel pusher also? When you say a model 533 where did you get that 533 number from. Is that written on the coach somewhere? I just replaced my headlights and front turn indicator lenses so if you need data on part numbers and where to get them just let me know.

Our coach is a front-engine gas unit, actually. "533" is the designation for the 33' (actually 34') coach, apparently, and if memory serves it is labeled as such somewhere.

It's a cool floorplan--the only other coach we found with a similar one was a Rexhall Aerbus of similar vintage. The floorplan is shown as an option in the 1994 Dolphin brochure, but not the '95. I suppose I could take pictures, too!

I saw one at the Tampa RV show last year. The couch faced forword with a lounge chair on the drvers side and a slide out on the passengers side with a table and chairs. I don't remember who made it but it sure made a nice living area.
