anyone know if in 2008 cummins still made a 400hp engine or was it increased. and by a ser. # can you tell what hp the motor is?
i ask because on the back of a pacifica there are red numbers with 400HP, they look odd the way they are placed and stand out, but the consumer label in the coach says 360hp. just wondering if dealer is trying to pull a fast one.

The Pacifica never had a 400 Cummins. In fact, there was never an engine option on the Pacifica. The standard engine shown was a 360 HP with a peak torque rating of 1050 lb./ft @ 1,400 RPM.

A call to Cummins with the engine serial # should get you the HP rating as built.
