We bought fleece fabric (brown with with paws on it) to put on the dash when we are parked. The cats love to sunbath on the dash and it saves the dash too. Also our cats seem to confuse the shadow boxes on our Pacific on the windows for kitty scatchers. We put our cat condo behind the drivers seat and the seat belt holds it in place nicely so when they jump up on it the condo doesn't fall over. We love traveling with our cats.

Our cats like the tent outside. No, we never leave them unsupervised.

Can anyone advise how they keep their cats from getting...... under and in the dash ? Plastic flexible fencing...... or screen door material or.....? And how did you attach ?

Thanks in advance

I used the softer flexible peg board, then cut it to fit the area under the dash board. Took a while getting it cut so it would just fit. Then I used plastic cable ties to hold it into place.

I'm a full time boondocker with 3 cats as well. Traveling long stretches with multiple cats can be tricky. I only use Arm & Hammer clump and seal for multiple cats. It has a 7 day odor control guarantee and it works! Make sure you've got the kind of pan with a shroud over the top because those boomers can sling shot nasty stuff EVERYWHERE and a litter mat at the entrance. That's so to catch any litter stuck to their paws which can be a major nuisance. The only other thing is to clean clean clean it OFTEN! I do at least 3 times per day using a diaper genie to trap odors in case there isn't a trash can near. Toys and scratching posts are a must have as well. Bring them or they'll use your Rv. Hope that helps my dear! Happy travels!

We travel with our menagerie, currently 7 cats and a lovebird. I always bring along their carriers, favorite toy(s), blankets and a cat condo that love. I also use Feliway plug ins, one in the living room one in the rear of the motorhome.
I used to take along copies of their medical records for any elderly or cats with a chronic condition (diabetes) but since we lost that fella I don't need to do so. I only mention it in case you are in the situation.

Of course I take nail clips, brushes, beds........it's nearly as much as packing for the humans!!!!
