Question on AC on 97 Dolphin

Hi Everyone.
Question On my 97 Dolphin I have two Du-Therms AC units can they be wired in sires . On my power panel I have a main AC and a Aux AC. I live in the NW and we have had no hot weather to test the AC units out I get cool out of all ducts but only the main unit fan is running at all speeds. I hope we get some hot weather to really test it. I just wanted to know if I needed to check the other fan.
Thank you Bob Bazley

Each unit has it's own AC breaker. By wire in series you mean to put them both on the same breaker?? Only reason to do that would to gain another breaker slot on the panel and if you did you would only be able to run one AC unit at a time.
The ceiling duct work is common to both AC units. Either or both discharge to all ceiling ducts.
You can turn the rear one on by itself to test and yes you need to test it. Both have a hi and low fan speed.

Hi garym114,
Thanks for the reply , that helps a lot . Is it common to have both AC on one zone ? I will check when we get some heat.
Thanks Bob Bazley
