I don't know how many rigs are out there with this problem, but my Tradewinds LTC front door model seems to have a problem when it rains. It seems the water runs out of the front end of the gutter, down onto the metal cover for the front awning and then misses the gutter just above the door and you get wet going in and out.It also drips on the metal part of the awning when the awning is out and runs down in between the metal slats and onto you or inside if the door is left open or out onto the awning and then drips thru.I think that I have taken care of the fabric leaking problem with two cans of waterproofing spray.
I was thinking about cutting a gap in the gutter in the area in between the main awning and the door awning and then plugging the front end of the gutter where it empties out over the door so that it all runs down the wall next to the awning leg.
Has anyone else done this or am I the only one that lives in a normally dry area like the Olympic Peninsula?

Bigdog,

They make different size extensions for the ends of the gutters. Maybe you could try a different one and that would fix it. I know that mine will do the same thing over the door depending how we have it leveled on the site. If that happens sometimes I will use the jacks to help make it roll off in another direction.

Or, you could just move to Arizona, Nevada… you get the idea.

I did buy some of that flex gutter that they sell at CW,but the problem with that is that the present gutter ends at the front roof cap seam and I'm not sure that the water can get by it. It's pouring down rain right now and so I think I'll go climb the ladder and look at it again.
