It looks like he converted the cooling unit. I don’t want to have to defrost this thing every three weeks otherwise we would look into that.
We did see a unit that can fight through the door and is almost the same cubic feet as the old one. It’s a different size configure it’s narrower but it’s 11.55 cf.
It can be ordered from Lowes or Home Depot and Sears.
The width is short then our 1200 but then you can put thin shelves or a small broom closet beside the new one.

Haier 10.1 installed and running. Freezer 2 degree, main is 37 degrees. Running off of 6 ea 6 volt batteries and 500 watts of solar. Can't see any change from the old 1200 RM, except using $1.00 less electric daily. Just about the same noise as the two fans in the 1200. So far very pleased, will update in a month or so.

Also the inverter is an Xantrex 458 1000watt.

My wife and I are looking at a couple of refrigerators. We're looking at the Samsung RF18, but also a LG and Frigidaire models based on a counter depth search on the Lowe's website. We were there last night a measured the RF18 they had in stock. Once we decide which model we're buying I'll post some pictures on the install in our Tradewinds 375.

If it’s important to your style of usage don’t forget the RF18 will run on the MSW inverter. I run mine on two 6 v batteries while traveling without the generator running.

We've measured numerous times, but the Samsung RF18 won't fit where our Dometic New Dimensions NDR1292 is currently located. Even with cutting all surrounding wood and relocating the heater, there's just not enough room. So we're looking at a Whirlpool unit (free ice maker upgrade at Lowes) right now. Cost ~ $500.

We don't boondock much and most modern residential refrigerators will stay cool 3-4 hours without electricity.

I started the process to get the new fridge installed. My son and I removed the old Dometic refrigerator. Now I just need to pull a window (it won't fit out the door).

I just cut it Up - Take it apart and then just cut the Foam into 1/4s to get it out the door.

Don't cut the Ammonia Lines as that might not be Good - It unbolts and come off.

Best of Luck,

We have the Dometic NDR1292. I measured the unit without the doors included and it's still too large to go out the door. I was told by our local RV repair company they which window the fridge needs to be removed thru.

I just have to remove the window without breaking it. Yay.
