Removal of water tanks on a tradewinds 7370

I recently bought a 99 Tradewinds 7370 on a freightliner chassis. I filled the tank (s) up a noticed a drip coming out of the front cover behind the generator where the tanks are located. just wondering if anybody has removed these tanks before and if they can be manuevered out thru the storage bay? It leaks down to about an inch from the top then seems to stop.

Water tanks

Before attempting to remove the tanks, make sure that the drip isn't coming from your overflow valves that are located in that general area. We have a 7350 that does the same thing, and it turned out to be our overflow valves. After the water levels out, it stops dripping. Hope this helps! Good luck.

Aron,
I have the same problem as you and have tried to find out how to take out the tanks also.Mine isn't coming from the over flow as been sugested. It is leaking so bad that my storage compartment gets drenched. I think I can get acsess from the compartment but there is a screw way inside and I am not built that small to reach way inside. What if anything did you find out?

Mine seemed to stop leaking. I did take the front cover off because that is where the water was coming from. I don't know what yours are like but mine are 2 L shaped tanks that are installed opposite to eachother if it looks like you have a skinny tank beside a wider one, thats probably the same as mine. this might make it a bit easier to remove if needed as when you get the wide one 1/2 way out you sbhould be able to angle it out of the bay.
